Mindful Eating

Tuning in to WHAT and HOW to eat for your body

Are you wanting to improve your relationship with food while learning what foods are best for your body & your digestion?

Do you feel a lack of "self control" around food, frequently feeling stuffed or physically uncomfortable?

Do you notice you eat when you are stressed, bored, overwhelmed or feeling upset/ triggered?

Before you do another google search on"how to lose weight" let's look to the root of these issues, shall we?

Growing up, most of us were not taught how to eat mindfully.

We eat with electronic distractions like social media, the news, emails.

We eat on the go & while in the car rushing from one place to the next.

We were told to "clear our plates" before we got up from the dinner table regardless of our satiety level.

We utilized food as our first external source of instant comfort and soothing in the world.

We skipped lunch breaks to get more work done in a day.

I have been there myself. I understand what you are going through and I am here to help! Not only have I been in your shoes, but I have helped hundreds of people learn how to eat mindfully to support not only their physical health, laying the foundation for any further interventions to be more effective and prevent relapse, but also to support a healthy relationship with food. Mindful eating has been shown to promote a healthy relationship with food, portion control and reduce cravings & body weight.
